At Peykan Cultural Institute (“Peykan”), we are committed to protecting your privacy, safeguarding personal information, and ensuring a safe, respectful learning environment for all participants. This policy combines our Privacy Policy and our Class Enrollment Policy Agreement into a single document for clarity and ease of reference.


1. Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information such as names, contact details, emergency information, and enrollment details provided during registration, online interactions, or communications with us.

How We Use Your Information

  • Process class enrollments and payments
  • Communicate important updates and reminders
  • Maintain accurate records for safety and administration
  • Improve our educational programs and services

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or to fulfill essential administrative or safety functions.

Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Children’s Privacy

For minors enrolled in classes, we collect parent/guardian information for emergency contact and supervision purposes. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental consent.

2. Enrollment Policy Agreement

By enrolling yourself or your child in any Peykan program, you (“Parent/Participant”) acknowledge and agree to the following:

Indemnification & Release of Liability

Participation in classes may involve certain risks of injury or illness. To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Parent/Participant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Peykan, its officers, directors, employees, instructors, and volunteers (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims or liabilities related to participation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct of Peykan.

Tuition & Payment Policy

  • Tuition is due in advance and must be paid before the first class.
  • Late or missed payments may result in suspension from classes.
  • Returned checks or declined payments may incur a service fee.

Refund & Withdrawal Policy

  • Enrollment fees are non-refundable after the first class session.
  • Withdrawals before the second class may be eligible for a prorated refund (less administrative fees).
  • No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes.

Attendance & Code of Conduct

  • Students must arrive on time and attend regularly.
  • Respectful behavior toward instructors, staff, and peers is required.
  • Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in dismissal without refund.

Pick-Up & Supervision (Minors)

  • Parents/Guardians must pick up their children immediately after class.
  • A 5-minute grace period is allowed. Afterward, a late fee of $30 per 10 minutes (or portion thereof) will apply.
  • Peykan is not responsible for children before or after class hours.

Health & Medical Authorization

  • Parents/Participants must inform Peykan in writing of any medical conditions, allergies, or health concerns.
  • In case of emergency, Peykan may seek medical treatment, and Parent/Participant is responsible for all medical costs.

Photo & Video Release

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Parent/Participant grants Peykan permission to photograph or record classes for educational, promotional, or archival purposes. Personal identifying information will not be disclosed without consent.

Emergency Contact Information

Parent/Participant must provide accurate and up-to-date emergency contact details at the time of enrollment.

Compliance with California Law

This Agreement is governed by California law. Nothing herein waives rights or protections that cannot be waived under state law.


3. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in a Peykan program, Parent/Participant affirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy & Enrollment Policy.
